Pickering to feature latest PXI Switching Modules at The PXI Show in China

Preview for The PXI Show China – Beijing and Shanghai

Pickering Interfaces, a leading provider of signal switching and instrumentation solutions used in electronic test and simulation, will be featuring its latest PXI switching modules at The PXI Show–China, which will be held in Beijing on August 19th and in Shanghai on August 22nd. These products include Pickering’s PXI general purpose, programmable resistor, RF and Microwave products.

Bob Stasonis, Sales & Marketing Director for Pickering Interfaces said, “This is the first year that The PXI Show is being held in China. Leveraging the success that The PXI Show has had in Europe, it was a natural progression that the PXISA members would display their products and discuss PXI applications in one of the largest test and measurement markets in the world. Pickering is looking forward to showing the Chinese market what Pickering and PXI can do.”

PXI Microwave Multiplexer Updates (40-784A)– these support single, dual, or triple SP4T or SP6T relays and are available in a variety of different frequency options for 50 Ω, from 6GHz to 40GHz. All models occupy just two 3U PXI slots and feature LED’s that indicate which path of the multiplexer is closed.

16 Amp PXI Switching Modules (40-161) – these modules are capable of switching currents up to 16 Amps and voltages up to 300VDC/250VAC with hot switch power of 448 W at 28VDC and 4000VA at 250VAC. The switching module is available with configurations of 16, 12, or 10 SPST, or 12 or 6 SPDT relays.

PXI Programmable Resistor Modules (40-261) – these modules are part of our expanding range of programmable resistor solutions. They feature high resistance setting resolution and excellent resistance stability and accuracy through the use of innovative switching networks and software correction techniques.

BRIC Family of Large PXI Matrix Modules and Multiplexers – the use of high-density packaging and integrated backplanes enables these large matrices to be implemented with no user configuration or special matrix expansion cabling. These matrices use thru-hole relays and can be serviced using standard de- soldering tools, simplifying repair and reducing down time. The BRIC's integrated design ensures high matrix performance with high signal bandwidth and fewer system implementation errors.

All the PXI modules can be used in any PXI chassis can be fitted to PXI hybrid slots in a PXIe chassis and can also be used in Pickering Interfaces’ LXI Modular chassis for users preferring control via an Ethernet port.
Pickering Interfaces stands behind all of their manufactured products with astandard three-year warranty and guaranteed long-term product support.

About The PXI Show

For the past two years, PXISA members have successfully hosted independent shows in Europe – The PXI Show in the UK, France, and Sweden have hosted small educational shows that focused on PXISA members, their products, and especially applications where PXI has excelled. Now we will host a similar event in China, where there will be two events in August – Beijing and Shanghai are the host cities. Go to www.pxishow.cn for more details.
