LXI is the de facto standard for using Ethernet (LAN) to control test and measurement products. Using Ethernet controlled instruments that comply with the LXI Standard ensures the instruments behave in a well-controlled and consistent way on the LAN. It ensures that Ethernet controlled products behave as good neighbours in a test system, they are configurable in ways that ensure there are no technical surprises for users. LXI products are also certified by third party test routes to ensure they comply with the standard, for more information LXI go to http://www.lxistandard.org/
