The 60-710 is available as single or dual 24 by 8 video matrix in a 1U high full rack width package. The 60-710 provides simple control from remote locations using Ethernet connectivity and a driver less soft front panel
February 2006. Pickering Interfaces expands its line of PXI modules with the introduction of the world’s first battery simulator in the PXI format. The new module, the 41-750, is capable of simulating a battery supplying power to hand held and portable electronic devices in manufacturing test. It offers an extremely fast transient load response when providing power to devices such as mobile phones
December 2005. Pickering Interfaces becomes one the first manufacturers to provide a LXI compliant product when the 60-100 switching chassis is declared LXI compliant by the LXI Consortium. The 60-100 permits 7 off Pickering PXI switching cards to be supported in an LXI compliant control environment.
October 2005. The latest edition of the popular PXImate has been introduced by Pickering Interfaces. The 4th edition can be obtained free of charge through the Pickering Interfaces web site or by contacting your local sales representative.
May 2005. May 2005. Pickering lowers cost of ownership of switching products
with new diagnostic aid.A new test tool has been introduced, the PI-MXT 90-100, that makes it simple and straightforward
for a user to test a Pickering Interfaces' PXI switching product. It provides a fast and efficient method of identify a
failed relay and taking corrective action without resorting to the lengthy process of returning the module to a remote
repair location or calibration centre. Click here

March 2004. March 2004. Pickering Interfaces introduces a new multifunction module,
the 41-250 and 41-251, which combine a DMM with a multiplexer, frequency
counter, audio source, digital I/O and serial interfaces in a compact 3U
PXI module. The new module is ideal for smaller test applications.
February 2004. February 2004. Pickering Interfaces introduces a new resistor module,
40-295 and 40-296, which provide the highest density provided in any
format. The modules are available configured for 8, 12, 16 and 24 bit
resistor chains and in a potentiometer configuration. The modules are
ideal for simulating resistive sensors in control applications and for
simulating the impact of variable controls.
February 2004. February 2004. A new range of isolated power supplies, 41-720, is
introduced providing up to 4 outputs from a single 3U PXI module. The
modules can be ordered with a variety of different fixed output voltages
to suit customer applications with output voltages ranging from 3.3 V to
15 V. Outputs can be stacked in series to provide higher voltage
capability.
January 2004. January 2004. Pickering Interfaces introduces a new 16 by 16 RF matrix,
45-720, with a BW in excess of 200 MHz in a 6U PXI format.
September 2003. September 2003. Pickering Interfaces extends the BRIC PXI module into
microwave switching applications by introducing the 40-787 Microwave
Switching matrix. Initially aimed at 10 GHz and 20 GHz applications the
40-787 is a new switching platform providing a solution for matrix
applications up to 4x4 with options for loop through or terminated
configurations. The modules are capable of being extended in terms of
frequency and complexity to other microwave application. Pickering
Interfaces will use the platform to meet the demand for both standard and
customised microwave switching applications.
August 2003. The PXImate second edition is now available from Pickering
Interfaces. With new sections covering PXI software and PXI power supplies
and expanded sections this book provides a simple guide to the PXI standard
and its capabilities. The book contains more than 100 pages of useful
information and can be obtained free of charge by registering a request on
the Pickering Interfaces web site or by calling your local sales office.
August 2003. Pickering Interfaces has introduced a new PXI 3GHz PXI
Attenuator module, 41-180. The attenuator provides a single or a dual DC to
3 GHz 0 to 63 dB attenuator with 1 dB step control in a single slot 3U PXI
module. The module is ideal for the conditioning of outputs from special to
type sources or for optimising signal levels in PXI based test systems.
July 2003. Pickering Interfaces announces
the availability of a flexible microwave switching platform,
40-789, capable of being configured in a large variety of
formats. The initial product is a 36 way multiplexer that
can be configures as a dual 18 way multiplexer. The architecture
of the new module allows Pickering Interfaces to offer many
variations of the switching arrangements and reduces the complexity
of external microwave cabling in test systems.
July 2003. A new module, 40-735, is available
from Pickering Interfaces designed specifically to switch
high speed serial interfaces. The 410-735 is ideal for switching
USB connections between banks of serially connected devices
undergoing bulk testing for the purpose of gathering quality
control data. It can be configured as either two 18 way
multiplexers or as a single 36 way multiplexer. The multiplexer
has been carefully designed to ensure that the transmission
line characteristics of the USB interface are maintained.
July 2003. A new combined power and sense
multiplexer is available from Pickering Interfaces designed
to allow the switching of power supply connections to loads.
It is ideal for the bulk testing of battery operated devices
where a Battery Simulator is required to be switched between
devices. An 18 way power multiplexer and 18 way sense multiplexer
are combined in a single slot module to provide a compact
solution that would other wise require more than one module.
The product can also be used as a general purpose multiplexer.
July 2003. Pickering Interfaces has launched
a new look web site to promote its products and services.
The new site provides user forums and provides a comprehensive
overview of the Pickering Interfaces product range. New
sections provide application notes and software download
centres to support the whole of Pickering’s product
range.
February 2003. Pickering Interfaces has
expanded its range of microwave PXI switching products to
40 GHz. The 40-785 is available as a single or a dual 6
way multiplexer in a 3 slot PXI module with frequency variants
of 20 GHz, 26.5 GHz and 40 GHz.
August 2002. At NI Week 2002 Pickering
Interfaces has introduced a new range of high density PXI
switching matrix, described as the BRIC range. The range
offers the highest density switching system available on
any switching platform and is based on the use of custom
designed reed relays supplied by Pickering Electronics.
The BRIC uses a modular structure to provide a large variety
of matrix possibilities with features designed to ensure
the matrix has a high signal bandwidth. The product allows
higher complexity test targets to be functionally tested
by PXI systems than previously possible.
