LXI Discovery Tools |
An important aspect of LXI product is device discovery. Some discovery tools are available for download:
The LXI Specifications(1.0 and 1.1) nominate VXI-11 as mandated discovery protocol. However, in the upcoming 1.2 specification a technique based on the Apple Bonjour protocol will be added.
Tools based on VXI-11 discovery are available, both National Instruments Measurement and Automation Exporer (MAX) and Agilent Automation Connection Expert may be used to locate Pickering LXI devices. A stand-alone tool is also available:

Pickering LXI devices also support Bonjour (aka Rendevous) discovery for which tools are available.
