Overview
The 40-525 is a 32x4 matrix with switched loopthru on its X and Y buses. This “FlexBus”
architecture has been primarily developed for the automotive test industry, and for
ECU testing in particular. The X bus connects to the inputs and outputs of the ECU
under test and is also fed to the LX connections via isolation switches. The LX connections
enable easy access to digital I/O circuitry.
The Y bus can be switched to any X signal and can be used for connecting test voltages,
loads or fault conditions to the ECU’s signals. This makes the X40- 525 the ideal
high density solution for rigorous fault testing or burn-in applications.
