Pickering Interfaces to Feature Latest PXI Switching and Programmable Resistor Modules at The PXI Shows China
Bob Stasonis, Sales & Marketing Director for Pickering Interfaces said, “This is second year that The PXI Show is being held in China. Last year’s events won the praise of local engineers and related test and measurement industry professionals. The PXI Shows in August are the second installment of the PXI Shows for 2015 – we started with successful shows in Beijing and Shanghai in the spring and we are now presenting in Xi’an and Chengdu. We are excited to help increase the presence of PXI technology in China.”
Products Highlighted at the shows
PXI RF Multiplexer (40-882) – these are 50Ω SP4T 6GHz multiplexers available as single MUX in one PXI slot, dual MUX in two PXI slots, or triple and quad MUX in three PXI slot modules. They exhibit low VSWR characteristically over the full operating frequency range and consistent insertion loss characteristics. These MUXs are ideal for ATE systems requiring frequent and fast operating RF switching.
PXI Strain Gauge Simulator Modules (40-265) – these modules simulate the operation of a range of strain gauges making them ideal for testing strain gauge meters and a wide variety of industrial control systems. These modules are part of our expanding range of programmable resistor solutions.
BRIC Family of Large PXI Matrix Modules and Multiplexers – the use of high-density packaging and integrated backplanes enables these large matrices to be implemented with no user configuration or special matrix expansion cabling. These matrices use thru-hole relays and can be serviced using standard de-soldering tools, simplifying repair and reducing down time. The BRIC's integrated design ensures high matrix performance with high signal bandwidth and fewer system implementation errors.
All the PXI modules can be used in any PXI chassis and can be fitted to PXI hybrid slots in a PXIe chassis. They also can also be used in Pickering Interfaces’ LXI Modular chassis for users preferring control via an Ethernet port.
Pickering will also highlight their new eBIRST Switching System Test Tools. These tools, designed specifically for Pickering’s PXI, PCI or LXI (Ethernet) products, simplify switching system fault-finding by quickly testing the system and graphically identifying the faulty relays.
Pickering Interfaces stands behind all of their manufactured products with a standard three-year warranty and guaranteed long-term product support. You can find pricing and availability on their website www.pickeringtest.com
