Reset Procedure

If for some reason an unknown or invalid IP address has been set or an unknown security password has been set, the LXI maybe reset back to factory settings.

Turn on the LXI wait for the RDY indication as shown.

Please note that an LXI chassis may have two reset buttons, Reset & ALARM Reset

The Alarm Reset only silences the chassis temp/voltage & fan alarms.

Reset - Use this reset to go back to factory configuration.

Hold the Reset button until only the PWR LED is illuminated (approx 5 seconds), release the reset button.

Wait for the unit to reboot.

As a final step the unit LXI should be powered off and back on to make sure the new configuration is loaded.

Please note - All configuration that was set will have been deleted and must now be reconfigured, chassis name, Fixed IP, security password etc.
After the reset the LXI will default back to DHCP as the first IP configuration method.
