PCI RF Switch Cards

These 8x9 RF Switch Cards are suitable for switching frequencies up to 500MHz. Available in either 50Ω or 75Ω versions with SMB coaxial connectors. These switch cards are intended for the easy construction of high-performance bidirectional matrix switching systems. Automatic isolation switches are located on all coaxial connections, these disconnect the matrix from the external test fixture. This maximizes isolation and RF performance.

All of our PCI switch cards are supported by our eBIRST Switching System Test Tools, these tools provide a quick and simple way of finding relay failures within LXI, PCI and PXI switch systems. They are also supported by our comprehensive range of cable and connector accessories.

Product Type

Switch topology or Pickering's programmable resistor products

Function

Required switch topology.

Z (Ω)

The input impedance of each switch channel.

Max f (MHz)

The maximum usable frequency of each switch topology.

Switch Type

EMR - Electro-Mechanical Relay, cost-effective, medium power switching. Reed - reed relays, excellent low-level switching, fast, long life. Solid-State - very fast, indefinite life, high power switching, but high leakage and insertion loss.
