The LXI Consortium has held its first general meeting in China from 19th to 21st June with the objective of creating awareness of LXI and expanding both the number of users and developers of LXI products. Pickering Interfaces demonstrated its ongoing support for the LXI Consortium by sending two representatives, Bob Stasonis and David Owen, to provide marketing and technical support to the meeting and present papers. Many of the leading members of the test and measurement industry were present to support the meeting, including Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, Keithley, National Instruments, Xantrex and Data Translation. The event was a huge success with over 160 people attending the three day event. Delegates came from wide range backgrounds with both users and developers in attendance. Presentations made during the three days covered topics describing how to use LXI products and how to develop new products and gain certification from the consortium.
