| Product Description |
The 41-740 and 41-742 are dual programmable power supplies, each channel being capable of supplying up to 60 Watts of power. It is an ideal solution for applications where a self contained test system with a high power supply power capability is required in a PXI format. The 41-740 requires an external DC input of 56 V while the 41-742 requires an AC supply input.
Each power supply channel can be independently set for output voltage and current limit, and outputs can be connected in series to provide higher output voltages. The 500 Volt isolation barriers ensure that the power supplies can be stacked on external DC pedestals and can be used to provide positive or negative output voltages with reference to system ground. The channels can be used in parallel to provide more current output.
Each output is supported by voltage sense lines that ensure the power supply delivers the correct voltage at the point of use, improving the accuracy and consistency of measurements in the presence of cable or switch distribution systems.
An integrated monitoring system provides 16 bit readout of current and voltage for each of the channels, allowing device current consumption and voltage to be accurately plotted.
