| Product Description |
The 40-485 is designed to simulate the operation of automotive switches where dirty contacts or leaking current can be expected from switch contamination. It allows automotive I/O devices to be tested for correct operation under adverse conditions. The design includes protection circuits that ensure module damage cannot be caused by wiring faults or UUT failures. The module supports up to 2 banks of 16 channels and is suitable for both 12V and 42V automotive applications.
Using the simulator, the sensor control systems used in automotive application can be checked for their tolerance of switches working in the difficult operating conditions found with automotive applications.
