160-Pin DIN41612 Connector, Female With Backshell, Crimp Pin
The 40-419-003 is a 32-channel digital I/O module suitable for operating external devices, such as power, RF and high voltage relays, solenoids and lamps. It can also be used for interfacing with external logic such as a programmable instrument with a BCD interface depending upon the module’s driving capabilities.
The 40-419 is available with 16, 32, 48 or 64 channels arranged in ports of 8. Each port can be set as 8 inputs or 8 outputs together, as well as setting individual channel as a input or output within a single port. The outputs are capable of driving loads up to 300mA, and can be configured to clamp voltage to internal +3.3 V, +5 V, +12 V or +24 V rails, or to externally supplied rail up to +60 V.
The built in protection systems include over current detection for every channel and an over-voltage clamp so the module can drive relay coils without the use of fly-back diodes.
Connection to the module’s input and outputs is via a 160-pin DIN 41612 front panel mounted plug which is fully supported by a range of connector accessories.
