Pickering to Show Latest Switching and Simulation Modules at KeLiang User Group Conference
Pickering Interfaces, a leading provider of signal switching and simulation solutions used in electronic test and verification, will showcase their broad catalog of PXI, LXI and PCI solutions at the KeLiang User Group Conference on June 27-29 in Shanghai. These products include Pickering’s PXI and PCI Simulation and PXI Fault Insertion. Below is a preview of some of the products they will be highlighting:
2 Amp PXI Fault Insertion Switch (model 40-190B) – a 74-channel fault insertion switch primarily designed for the simulation of fault conditions in automotive applications involving the reliability testing of safety critical controllers. These were designed to be able to insert three different fault conditions between the test fixture and the equipment under test including: short-circuit to other fault conditions, short-circuit between UUT connections, and short-circuit to other fault conditions such as POW/IGN/GND via a fault insertion bus.
High-Density BRIC PXI Matrix Modules (model 40-597) – This range of high-density matrix modules are able to switch up to two Amps or 100VDC/70VAC. They are available in 2, 4, or 8-slot PXI sizes and are constructed using high-quality electro-mechanical relays for high switching confidence. Typical applications include signal routing for functional ATE systems.
PXI Programmable Resistor and Relay Module (model 40-294) – featuring lower density and lower cost for simulating variable resistors. These modules have 12 resistance range options with resolutions of 0.25 Ohm to 2 Ohm and channel counts of two or four. They have the option of eight extra SPST relays that can be used for extending the resistance range or for other switching functions within a test system. All versions use high-quality instrument grade reed relays to ensure long service life and fast setting times.
PCI Precision Programmable Resistor Module (model 50-297) – Designed as a simple solution for applications requiring accurate simulation of resistive sensors, this series includes 50 model configurations per platform (this model is also available in PCI form/factor). Each version offers users the choice of channel count, range and setting resolution. With resolution from 0.125Ω to 2Ω and channel counts from 3 to 18 and basic accuracy is 0.2% ± resolution.
All the PXI modules can be used in any PXI chassis and can be fitted to PXI hybrid slots in a PXIe chassis as well as in Pickering’s LXI and LXI/USB Modular chassis for users preferring control via an Ethernet port. Pickering will be showing all of the PXI models in their 7-slot LXI Modular Switching Chassis (model 60-102B).
Pickering will also be showing a range of PXI switching, PXI Precision Resistors and supporting cables and connector solutions as well as their eBIRST™ Switching System Test Tools. The eBIRST tools simplify switching system fault-finding by quickly testing the system and identifying the faulty relays. Once identified, the tools then display a graphical representation of the switching system’s PCB assembly, highlighting the relays that need to be replaced.
Pickering Interfaces stands behind all of their manufactured products with a standard three-year warranty and guaranteed long-term product support.
