Pickering Interfaces to show PXI switching and simulation modules at New Energy Vehicle International Forum

August 8, 2022 – Shanghai, China – Pickering Interfaces, the leading supplier of modular signal switching and simulation solutions for use in electronic test and verification, will exhibit at the 12th New Energy Vehicle International Forum, which runs from August 18th-19th in Suzhou, China. Pickering will spotlight the following automotive solutions.

  • To facilitate Battery Management System (BMS) test, they will show the PXI battery simulator. They are ideal for battery stack emulation with the advantage of a modular and scalable platform. These modules enable direct voltage and current readback either programmatically or using our soft panel control. With an isolation specification of 750 Volts, you can build a BMS test system that supports up to 100 cells of battery simulation, all contained within a single 19-slot PXI or PXIe chassis.

For a flexible BMS test system, combine the battery simulators with Pickering’s other PXI switch and simulation modules, including high voltage switching, fault insertion switching, thermocouple simulation and RTD simulation. To create a fully flexible test system, they can also be combined with other vendors’ PXI modules, such as a CANbus interface.

  • Pickering will also spotlight their PXI fault insertion switching. These scalable solutions may be used to switch signals between simulations and real-life devices in a multitude of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and test systems. These modules can help to considerably simplify and accelerate the testing, diagnosis and integration work in HIL applications.

Other highlights on display include 4-slot LXI/USB chassis, sensor simulation solutions including programmable resistors and strain gauge simulators and a selection of Pickering’s broad portfolio of other switches, simulation products, and cables & connectors.
