The two companies are teaming together to improve how Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) Fault Insertion testing works. “We are working together to make this portion of the OPAL-RT test system more flexible and more cost effective. Pickering Interfaces’ concept will combine a Break Out Box (BOB) and Fault Insertion Unit into one unit. This will simplify cabling and potentially save rack space. Pickering will also add many more options in terms of channel count, current capability, and number of fault busses. In addition, programmable resistance will also be an option.” says Bob Stasonis, Americas and Asia Sales & Marketing Director, from Pickering Interfaces.
