Pickering Interfaces Introduces 6GHz Matrix

Clacton on Sea, UK - Pickering Interfaces is expanding its range of 6Ghz solid state switching modules with the introduction of the first RF solid state matrix in PXI, the 40-884.

The 40-884 provides a 4x4 matrix which occupies 3 slots of a 3U PXI chassis. The design provides excellent input VSWR to greater than 6GHz and features high port to port isolation to ensure that input and output signals do not interfere with each other.

Input and output connections are provided on robust SMA connectors and all unused ports are automatically terminated in 50Ohms.

The 40-884 provides an ideal solution for applications where up to four concurrent signals are required to be carried; the excellent isolation and crosstalk allow four independent test processes to be carried out at the same time to speed up test times.

The module can withstand +30dBm signals and features high linearity to ensure that there is minimal distortion on signals to +20dBm. The 40-884 further expands the capabilities of PXI as an RF test platform.

The 40-884 is supported by any PXI compliant chassis or PXIe hybrid slot and by Pickering Interfaces modular LXI chassis.
