Fault Insertion on Serial Interfaces

Fault insertion on serial interfaces requires a different architecture to those listed above since the characteristics of the serial connection (differential) need to be preserved. More information on solutions can be found here

Fault Insertion Protection

For some fault insertion applications digital I/O modules from Pickering Interfaces can be used to reduce the stress on relays inserting faults to ground or power supply, find out how here. These digital I/O modules can also be used to directly simulate faults to ground and a positive power supply.
