Pickering Virtual LXI
We provide two different options for simulating some of our switching products, allowing for code development independent from your application hardware. One is a software version and one is a hardware version.
The LXI Simulation Tool (model 60-901-001) supports the simulation of all of our PXI and LXI switching products as well as most of our PXI simulation products, providing you with a simple and highly portable platform for application development. Each product is supported as a virtual LXI device allowing code development with minimal hardware. It can also show real-time switching and debug information and comes with a driverless soft front panel that provides complete control of the module’s functions.
Pickering provides a 'virtual LXI' software application that may be configured to simulate almost any Pickering LXI product.
Using this product the user may create an LXI object that will behave exactly like the real product, but of course, without the hardware. This allows a developer to create and test software for a Pickering LXI target in advance of delivery of the hardware, thus potentially shortening the development time at the more critical stages of a project.
