VSWR Interaction

If two RF devices are connected with a perfect cable but the devices each have a significant VSWR then some uncertainty is created in the RF levels observed. This can occur for example when a perfect RF source (from VSWR perspective) is connected thru two RF switches by a perfect cable, or if a an imperfect source is connected by a perfect cable to an imperfect load. This table shows the uncertainty in the signal power.
