A picture in many cases may explain the situation better than text.

Screen Capture

For a capture of the entire screen press the [Prt Sc] button this copies the screen to the copy buffer.

alternatively to just capture the active window press [Alt] + [Prt Sc].

then Email as embedded picture

Open MS Outlook

New Mail Message

Click within the message area

Choose Edit - Paste from the menu.

or as an Email attachment

open MSPaint

choose Edit - Paste.

File - Save As

Save in: choose Desktop

Save as type change to JPEG (*.JPG...)

Choose a filename such as: Myscreen

Click Save.

Open MS Outlook

New Mail Message

Insert - File

Look in: choose Desktop

select the file created earlier

Click Insert.
