LXI High-Density Matrix

Our LXI High-Density Modules are single and double pole matrices available in a wide range of configurations, including versions with the added flexibility of a dual analog bus. These high-density matrices are ideal for signal routing in large automatic test equipment (ATE) systems including, semiconductor test. They are suitable for applications where a simple start-up process is required and for applications requiring control over large distances.

Selected modules are supported by our Diagnostic Test Tools, BIRST (Built-In Relay Self-Test) and eBIRST Switching System Test Tools; these tools provide a quick and simple way of finding relay failures within LXI, PCI and PXI switch systems.

All of our LXI matrices are designed in accordance with the LXI Standard 1.4. They are supported by a comprehensive range of cable and connector accessories.

Product Type

Switch topology or Pickering's programmable resistor products

Switch Type

EMR - Electro-Mechanical Relay, cost-effective, medium power switching. Reed - reed relays, excellent low-level switching, fast, long life. Solid-State - very fast, indefinite life, high power switching, but high leakage and insertion loss.

Max I (A)

Maximum continuous current each switch can carry.

Max V DC

The maximum voltage that may be applied to each switch.

Poles

The number of common terminals simultaneously switched by a single operation. … more

Banks

The number of independent switch topologies on a single module.

Y Size

The number of matrix rows, used with X Size to specify the size of a cross-point matrix.
