This terminated single 16 to 1 multiplexer is part of a range of RF multiplexers available in the following configurations: dual, quad and octal 4 to 1, single, dual and quad 8 to 1, single and dual 16 to 1 and single 32 to 1. All multiplexers have the option of automatic terminations which offer advantages at system level by reducing the presence of standing waves in the system which can cause degradation in isolation and crosstalk.
These RF multiplexers exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 600MHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss. The injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal paths has been minimized by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.
User connections are made via SMB connectors; you can find the associated RF cable & connector accessories data sheet under the downloads tab above.
This multiplexer range includes various terminated configurations. Each of which having a fixed maximum RF power as dictated by the termination resistors. The alternative range referenced above has been introduced to permit a pulsed power capacity. Please refer to the alternate range product page when considering new system designs that can benefit from this improvement.
If no specifications are present, please see the product datasheet in this section.
Please note: In some cases, for products like our Scalable LXI Chassis, the specifications can be found on the datasheets for the associated plugin modules that are inserted into these chassis. To find these modules, go to the "Also in the Range" link above.
