The 40-877-101 is a 50Ω 2x2 RF matrix with 1 bank in a single PXI slot. Loop-thru connections are provided on both the X and Y axis allowing the attachment of terminations for unused signals or for expansion to other matrices. Larger matrices are easily built with varied X and Y dimensions, such as 8x2 and 4x4 using multiple 40-877 modules. The module has low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each matrix has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 2.5GHz. The injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal paths of the 40-877 has been minimized by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.
