Repair Policies for Pickering Switch & Simulation Products

All repairs of Pickering Interfaces products are on a return to factory basis.

Repairs out of the standard 3-year warranty period are charged solely on the actual parts and labor required, not on a standard or fixed fee or list price percentage basis. However, we realize that many customers need a price to start the return process, for this reason we offer a few different price options for you to start with.

Pickering Interfaces offer three types of service returns, these include:

Evaluation

This type of service return investigates faults on switch modules (known or unknown), down to relay contact damage level (if requested) and are priced appropriately for the type of product returned:

Verification

This is a simple retest to check if the switch module is still within specification, it does not include repair and is priced appropriately for the type of product returned:

Re-calibration

This is a re-calibration service for our Instrument modules, including precision resistors, it does not include repair and is only applicable for PXI & PCI modules - click here for a list of applicable modules.

Prices are based on a typical repair fee, it is our policy to charge only for the work required for each individual repair.

You must obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from Pickering prior to returning any products for repair.
You can obtain RMA numbers by completing our RMA form or by contacting your local office.
