Repair Policies for Pickering Switch and Simulation Products

All repairs of Pickering Interfaces products are on a return to factory basis. Repairs out of the standard 3-year warranty period are charged solely on the actual parts and labor required, not on a standard or fixed fee or list price percentage basis. However, we realize that many customers need a price to start the return process, for this reason we offer a few different price options for you to start with.

We offer two types of repairs, these include:

  • Calibration/Evaluation - this type of repair investigates faults on switch modules (known or not known), down to relay contact damage level (if requested) and are priced differently for the type of product you have:
  • Verification - this is a simple retest to check if the switch module is still within specification, it does not include repair and it is also priced differently for the type of product you have:

Remember, these prices are based on a typical repair fee, it is our policy to charge only for the work required for each individual repair.

You must obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from Pickering prior to returning any products for repair.

Products serviced and repaired out of the standard 3-year warranty period, carry a 90-day warranty.
