New 2Amp PXI Switching Matrices from Pickering Interfaces


We are proud to introduce our new range of 2A PXI switching matrices with the highest crosspoint density available in the industry. The new solutions increase the density of our PXI matrices by up to 75% compared to our previous products and more than twice the density of competitor's products.

Unique Matrix Functionality

These modules are utilized in a different fashion from many matrix designs. In this example, the 40-579 permits 14 concurrent X to X paths or 16 concurrent Y to X paths. The 40-575, 40-576, 40-577 and 40-578 permit 4, 6, 8 and 12 concurrent X to X or X to Y paths respectively. As shown in the figure, X to Y connections (e.g. X15 to Y7) and X to X connections (e.g. X18 to X27) are permitted, also any number of X connections can be connected to to the Y axis (e.g. X2, X8, X9 & X12 to Y5). However, the driver prevents the connection of Y axis connections together (e.g. Y10 to Y15).
