PCI Fault Insertion Switch Cards

  • Primarily designed for the simulation of fault conditions in automotive & avionics applications involving the reliability testing of safety critical controllers.
  • 2 Amp switching cards based on electro-mechanical relays, available with 75, 64 or 36 channels and 1 or 2 fault buses.
  • Differential switching cards are suitable for fault insertion on serial interfaces such as CAN, FlexRay, AFDX, BroadR-Reach and 1000 BaseT Ethernet.
  • Cards can be supplied with our eBIRST Switching System Test Tools, these tools provide a quick and simple way of finding relay failures within LXI, PCI and PXI switch systems.

Pickering's PCI Fault/Signal Insertion Switch Cards feature a breakout arrangement that allows faults to be attached to the sensor lines, this includes the breaking of a connection or the adding of defect – all of which can simulate connectivity problems in the system.
