The 40-253-033 is a programmable resistor module with 1 channel which can be set between 2Ω and 54.4kΩ with 1Ω resolution
The 40-253 range provides a simple solution for applications requiring up to 10W of power handling per channel.
The 40-253 is available in a variety of resistance ranges and resolution capabilities that meet the needs of
most functional test systems. Each channel is able to simulate short or open circuit conditions that can be experienced
in a system caused by faulty wiring or sensors.
The 40-253 range is available in 20 standard builds that suit the most common configurations:
A calibration cable assembly can be attached to the module in place of the UUT to enable a DMM to be used for verifying
the resistor channels, considerably simplifying the checking of the module's calibration. The associated calibration
cable for this product is available for purchase as 40-975-037-1m
For applications requiring greater density with lower power, users should consider the model 40-297 high-density Precision Resistor Modules.
If no specifications are present, please see the product datasheet in this section.
Please note: In some cases, for products like our Scalable LXI Chassis, the specifications can be found on the datasheets for the associated plugin modules that are inserted into these chassis. To find these modules, go to the "Also in the Range" link above.
