Overview

Pickering Interfaces 60-891-005 is a compact 50 Ω microwave switching matrix with a maximum bandwidth of 26.5 GHz. It is ideal for constructing complex microwave switching systems for many applications. Connection is by high performance front panel mounted SMA connectors. The 60-891-005 matrix is constructed from interconnected microwave tree multiplexers which allows the routing of any single input port to any single output port.

Controlling the Matrix

This LXI Microwave Matrix is controlled through an LXI interface based on 1000Base-T Ethernet. This provides a quick and easy method of installation. It also provides a simple way of controlling it at a remote location through its API or built in soft front panel. The ability to control the unit at a distance aids the testing of systems without the need for a physical presence.
